These are pics from the free day at our 'local' botanic gardens. Avery wanted a picture in front of every statue (which we took) but I decided just to post the one where he looks the least like he's choking his brother. The other pic is me in the bamboo forest - a happy place for me.

Birthday rewards...

For those of you who donated to my birthday spoiling fund, here are a couple of the things that I've gotten. The purse has silver studs on the strap too. It's huge compared to my last purse, but it's got major character :) The shirt is darker by a bit than shows in the picture, and has little rutchings at the bottom of the 3/4 sleeves and on the sides of the tummy. I also got a pair of jeans, leather gloves, and desperately needed tights. Thanks!
