The top picture is the second living room that is to the left of the tiled dining area (seen in the post below).  The white door goes out to the carport and there is a doorway just to the left of the white door that goes down to the basement.

The middle picture is the upstairs bathroom.  There is floral wallpaper AGAIN, but I can tolerate this one much much better than the shimmery pink 80's-colors flowers of the last one!

The bottom picture is one of the 3 upstairs bedrooms.  I like the tassel-y curtains :)

<-- Here is the front living room of our house to be!  We are all so excited to have our own house again.  This one is only a rental so should not be sold out from under us like our last two choices!

This place has central heat and air, and two raised garden beds already built in the backyard.




<-- This is part of our awesome kitchen to be!  Please note the actual fan above the oven and the super-modern am/fm radio installed under the counter ;)  There is also a dishwasher that you can't see.  YAY dishwashers!

<-- This is the right-hand side of the kitchen - more counter space!!!  You can also see the tiled dining room past the counters.  That window back there looks out onto the backyard which also has a utility shed.

Easter II

Here's the boys dyeing eggs with me and Tia. Curran didn't want to leave the eggs in for more than 10 seconds, but he still had fun. Avery had enough control to make stripey eggs this year. Here are their eggs, maybe later I'll post the grown-up ones. And yes, every one of those cups is a different color!

Here's the two handsome boys in their Easter shirt & ties. And yes they do have real baskets which they used for the real egg hunt, but I forgot to bring them to the church egg hunt (again).

Soon I will post pics of the egg decorating, etc.

Super Frog!

Below is my hand-drawn logo (c) for Super Frog [below], Avery's character in his upcoming play. I'm hoping to render this in fabric and apply it to the back of his ex-Musketeer cape. The colors will be green outside/letters and silver background.

<---Update: There it is rendered in cloth! Had fun with printable fusable web :) I didn't have any silver left so I used gold, but I still I think it looks pretty swank...

Boxing Day

Here's my boys enjoying Boxing Day. We spent it with Aric's sister and her beau. Thanks to him we got to try Christmas pudding! They set this lovely table for dinner. The goblets were actually from us and ended up matching the table perfectly!

Happy New Year!

This is the kids enjoying the fondue dinner we had the week before Christmas. This wee table has been ever so handy! The adults had a marvelous time too with 3 cheese fondues, 2 broth fondues, and 2 dessert fondues. I'm so happy to have pulled off a themed dinner party! (Thanks to all our friends who provided all the dippers.)
